2025 MCPA Fall Leadership Summit

The Fall Leadership Summit is a 2.5-day training event designed specifically for Minnesota’s law enforcement leaders. Held at the scenic Cragun’s Resort, this conference offers high-impact leadership development, inspiring keynote speakers, and meaningful networking in a smaller, more collaborative setting.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your leadership, connect with peers, or stay ahead of today’s most pressing and emerging issues in policing, this conference is your opportunity to grow and stay informed in a rapidly evolving profession.

Cragun’s Resort is the official hotel of the Fall Leadership Summit

  • Hotel Rate: $105 per night + tax

  • With Breakfast Buffet: $135.22 per night (includes tax and breakfast)

Note: Breakfast is not included in your conference registration and must be added through your hotel booking.

Hotel Room Cancellation Policy

Cancellations due to work-related emergencies, staffing needs, or unexpected obligations will be fully refunded if made at least 48 hours before check-in. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior or no-shows will be charged the full package rate, including taxes and service charges.

2025 MCPA Fall Conference Small Agency Scholarships 

The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation will award 20 scholarships of $500 each to assist chiefs from small agencies (10 or fewer officers) in attending the 2025 MCPA Fall Conference, held November 18–20, 2025, at Cragun's Resort in Brainerd, MN.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Your agency must employ 10 or fewer licensed officers

  • You must be a current MCPA Voting Member / CLEO

  • Priority will be given to applicants who have not received an ETI scholarship in the past three years

Additional Information

  • Application Deadline: Extended to October 3rd, 2025

  • Applications will be reviewed, and award decisions will be made by the end of October. Scholarship recipients will receive a $500 reimbursement check after attending the conference to cover registration and lodging expenses.

Cancellation policy

When registrations are canceled for MCPA training events, the following refund policies will apply:

  • Cancellations requested more than one month prior to the start of the event will receive a full refund, less a cancellation fee of $75 or 25%, whichever is smaller.
  • Cancellations requested two weeks to one month prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations requested less than two weeks prior to the start of the event will not be refunded.

 Refunds may be issued by check or credit card.  

Agencies may opt to substitute a different attendee for the person who originally registered for no additional fee and should notify MCPA of the change prior to the class so POST credit can be properly assigned.
